It would be based on pre-orders.
For something with a release date in early August solicitations for pre-orders would have gone out in June.

I thought all mention of MW:DA was banned? Or was it only banned until it is released? And is that the original release date or the new, revised release date? I'm so confused!!!
Oh, and pushing release of an item back just becaue there's not enough of them to meet demand is no excuse. As a matter of fact it strikes me as a ploy to rev up interest, instead of a response to too much interest.

Mordel has posted in both the Posting Policy and the Announcement Forum what the rules regarding MW:DA are. Because my original post offers no opinion of the delay it is allowed under the rules; just as the part of your post I quoted above, it asks a legitimate question about the policy regarding MW:DA so it's allowed.

While that may be the case, posting my opinion on that would be a violation of the MW:DA policy as it offers an opinion without any specific first hand knowledge; just as the second half of your post does, you offer your opinion without any specific first hand knowledge of that situation.

No, I have never asked him to fix my computer...at least not intentionally.
He did install my printer because, well, it was here and so was he.
He also had to fix something that Norton caused, but that was a joint screw-up on our parts so it doesn't really count

LOL! He used to help me fix my crappy Fiero, but since I have a Mac, I havn't had to call on his 'puter expertise.....yet.

Doesn't matter if it is Wintel or Mac, they haven't invented hardware that doesn't break. Or is that hardware that Hardware can't break?
Now software is up and down more than a comfort girl when the fleet's in town.
