I just wanted to take a poll of everyone's favorite band and favorite song. The song can be by any band, not just you favorite band.

Only one favorite of each? AGH!!! The horror!
Band: Pink Floyd and Led Zepplin
Song: For the Love of God by Steve Vai
AWAD...I hate you with a PASSION now! For some odd reason, Satriani decided NOT to come to NorCal (haven't checked in a few weeks...might have changed that), so I doubt I'll get to see him live this year.
I REALLY hope he goes to San Fran...cause at least then I go watch him.

Heh...that'd be George Thoroughgood's Bad to the Bone...
Whats funny was that in either '84 or '85 he was awarded the Heavy Metal Artist of the year award....he took the podium and refused the award. He pointed to Metallica and Megadeath saying something to the effect of "Those guys are heavy metal" He then left the stage, sans award.
Bit of history for ya!

I think it was '87 that Jethro Tull Beat out Metallica for Best Heavy Metal Album....Jethro Tull????
The Next year Metallica won the Grammy, and in thier speech thanked Jethro Tull for not putting out an Album....
More History...
