Then why, pray tell, did you post it if we can't even comment on it?
It would just be better if you put the link in a thread, lock it, and then we wouldn't think we could even discuss it.

If you read the posting policy you'll see where the line is concerning MW:DA posts.

Huh?
The rules for MW:DA are free, the only thing that costs money is the units.
Battletech is far from dead. Of course you've been told that several times already but you don't believe us. I'll put it to you this way...as long is there is a breath in my body Battletech will live. And I know many others that think the same.

I didn't ask you what the policy was, I asked you why you posted this information if we can't reply to it with anything more than "Thank you"?

Actually, you can comment on it.
If you have something to say about the "strategy or game play" (which would include the rules) then you're welcomed to do so.
Per Mordel, if posts concerning MW:DA are nothing but an attack on the game then they will be deleted.

After reading the rules I find that they are simple and seem to fit what everyone else has been saying...they need improvement. So I am not impressed with them at all, but that is my opinion on them, personally I would rather stick with Battleforce 1 and 2.
Maybe the delay of shipping will give WK time to make adjustments or maybe not...Also why are their blank pages in the rules?
Did I get a bad download or were they there as filler?

Cadet has a good point, if we can't comment as we feel then why post anything dealing with MWDA at all?
IF we don't like it, then that should not be cut off...constructivily commenting on why we don't like certain things should be allowed...
Just asking to get a better understand and all about things...

Actually my comment was based on my reading of those rules. I read them, I said what I though about them. I just didn't see the need to discuss them point by point, or even to produce the header "After reading the rules, and based solely on my interpretation of the rules, because of X,Y,and Z, I hereby proclaim the rules are unworthy of my attention and will henceforth be printed out and used only in the absense of toiletpaper."
I just cut to the chase and summed up my feelings of those rules in two words. I did read them though.

Because this is Mordel's board and he said you can't. The reason behind why he said you can't is because everyone's opinion on this is well know, and since people on both sides of the issue seem to forget their manners when discussing it Mordel limited the scope of MW:DA posts.

Why should you be? People seemed to already have made up their minds that the game is going to be so why have any further discussion?
If you wish to slam a game you've never seen played and have just read the rules to less than 48 hours ago there are plenty of messageboards you can go to and do that.
And I laugh at the phrase you use: "constructivily commenting". I haven't seen anything constructive posted by anyone that's already made up their minds about MW:DA yet. Some blindly hate it; some blindly love it. Neither has said anything constructive.

The rule is clear--if your post simply trashes MW:DA without any foundation the post will be removed per Mordel's directive.
You'll note that there are several posts on this board that are "negative" when it comes to MW:DA. Those posts are based on something "physical"; the poster has played the game and disliked it or the poster has read the rules and has commented on the rules (like you do above).
If someone has a concern that their post will violate Mordel's rules regarding MW:DA they can do what you yourself have done before--send a message to Mordel or myself and ask.

Its possible I misinterpreted your post as an attack at MW:DA instead of a commentary of the rules, and if so I apologize.
A question if I may...had you read the rules prior to my posting them?

It should be noted that Cadet's post was 100% Cadet...and it was moderately ammusing.

I have something constructive to say . At least they didnt't just end battletech altogether. Now we hae something, good or bad, to look foward too everything changes either for the better or worse but the worst change that could have happened would be the end of new batletech material. At least that didn't happen.
