Fluff:
This little gem was brought to my attention by a defecting TC intelligence operative. It would seem that
the TC has slowly become aware of just how much they are beginning to rely on outside nations for key
components on vehicles. In an attempt to be more self-reliant (or xenophobic?), it was decided that mech be created
that used only all-Taurian produced components. Not only would it help to strengthen the military, it was reasoned,
but since they were using all-homegrown parts it would also boost the economy.
Many factories and independant designers sent in mechs, but this was the only winning design. And since
this was an independent design, the TC had a little more leeway in assigning a factory to produce it. It was finally
decided to build an add-on to the Sabre plant on Organo to house the lines. Although Organo is still a border
world, it is far enough away from the capital and other major planets that it was hoped it would be missed by other
nations.
Instead, now that the FC has copies of the schematics, it is unknown how the TC will proceed. Since they
have invested a noticeble sum of money, it is unlikely that the design will just be dropped. And since the wing is
already under construction, something is going to be built there. Most likely, the TC will either keep it at Organo
and use the first few runs to beef up the garrison, or move the Rampart lines elsewhere and use the Organo lines
for something else. Most feel that the former will happen.

Hey! I built a Mech like that a few years ago. Even had the same name. The biggest diiference between them was that mine had a UAC-5 and a PPC (If I remember right?). Mine also wasn't a Jumper.
Alexander (You know what they say! Great minds think a like... )

A 55 ton mech with an AC5, a SL, and 2 SRM2s?
I'm thinking it needs more firepower...all this is in it's current state is a target (and not much of one at that).
