We need a few good men... but we will have to do with you  and if any girl wants to join you are welcome 
I am taking part in a operational Play By E-Mail Game with a loose 3025 setting. Scale is tactical, regimental campaigns, smallest unit you command is a company, turns are weekly.
You don't have to bother about game mechanics or the details of the combats, you just have to pay attention and issue operational orders to your units like a real world military commander would do. Your job is to make decisions, not make die rolls.
In the current campaign, we play as part of a mercenary regiment in Davion service in operations against House Liao. I thought it was a bit munchy for 3025 purists standards, but I later realized that things are a bit different, it's a homebrewed game, after all. Still, it retains a solid 3025 feeling. Regardless, the game is very good, and even if you dislike fighting for Davion imperialists , I recommend joining this game to learn how to set up and manage one so you can latter apply it to other campaigns.
Suffice to say that if this game is good enough for me, then in all likelyhood is too good for you, scum

Entry is by invitation, but even if somebody else gives a larger bribe to the GameMaster and takes your place, don't despair, we keep a waiting list because with the high turnover in personal we always need replacements.
I'm known as Captain Romani, Easy Company/412th Batallion/71st Regiment and now acting in charge of the press gang squad...err.. "recruiting officer" that is!

Sounds cool. And I like the idea of not having to roll dice myself, (I'm pretty unlucky when it comes to those six sided devil's cubes!)
