Hey guys,
I sent an e-mail to you both under your mordel addresses but havn't heard back anything yet.
In case you didn't get it I'm having a BTech mini-con day at my house in Danvers. It would be either Sat August 31, or Sunday Sept 1, depending on which day more people can come.
I've got two scenerios planned:
#1: Every Pilot for himself in the Solaris7 Arena: Ishiyama, the Iron Mountain. Bring any Fasa printed Inner Sphere Mechsheet from 35 to 75 tons inclusive. (Any Era). Pilot & Gunnery Skills to be adjusted by Battle Value(BV) of Mech. Extra minis and assorted Mechsheets provided. You can view the map we're playing on at
http://www.marblehead.com/guidance/mountain.htm
#2: Team play in a battle between the Fighting Urakhai (FedCom) and the 24th
Dieron Regulars (Draconis Combine) in the Sherwood Forest of Al Na'ir (Dieron Military District,DC) in April 3063. You can view the map we're playing on at
http://www.marblehead.com/guidance/maps.htm
Any extra time could be devoted to small skirmishes or perhaps a Clan Grand Melee.
I would like to start at 9 AM and go to about 8PM, with a lunch break-Barbeque. People can bring thier own meat (or tofu if your a
vegetarian!) which I can grill and I was thinking everyone could toss in a couple of bucks and I could pick up some side dishes, corn on the cob and drinks.(I work for Stop & Shop)
At this point I'm trying to get a concensus to what day would be better for people and the overall interest level.
I've invited 17 people. So far I have 1 no, 1 possible, and 6 (+2 extras) yes. Plus me. I will wait until Monday to notify everyone of which day (sat or sun) it will be so they have enough notice.
Want to make sure you guys got the invite as your both pretty close.

Well technically you're right, but I counted Mordel's response of "probably could with enough notice" as a yes.
I'll be choosing the exact day by this Monday and letting everyone know via email. Hopefully that will be enough notice.

I wish it was that cool here. In the last three weeks, we've had heat over 100 about 7 times and heat index of 115-120 about 5 times.....

Hehe... yeah, I don't ask to go out that often, so I'm sure lady J would let me out of the house for a day. _________________ Mordel Blacknight - Site Administrator

While that may sound horribly high for those of us in New England, it's not as bad as it sounds, I would imagine. The killer up here isn't always the heat, it's that stinkin' humidy. It never usually gets past the mid to upper 90s here, but the air is usually so thick it makes it tough to breathe. _________________ Mordel Blacknight - Site Administrator
