So, I just found out on Thursday that I've been tasked to head over to Bosnia again in February. My Armoured Regiment is tasked to send an Infantry section, and I've been pegged as the section 2IC (Second in Command). Great job for a tanker? Not really, but it sure beats sitting in a HQ, and driving a general around!
Anyhow, I am taking suggestions for where I should take my 18 day leave this time!

You don't have to tell me twice. I've done lots of living in -40. Needless to say, it sucks!

Hahaha....that's the thing about Michigan, it's either 100 F or 10 F, we have a spring lasting about 2 weeks. That, and I can't remember the last time it rained here. It dosne't snow a lot either, but when it does, your gonna be here for a little while, but the drill teams clear it pretty good for all the damned amount that falls. Never floods either, drainage works good too

Atleast in the winter you can always put more clothes on... There's a limit to how far down you can go in the summer.

I`m just about paralyzed when the temp reaches +30°C, which it often does during the summer months. May have something to do with wearing black t-shirts and jeans
Work is even worse, since I`m required to wear a uniform concealing a Class II vest under it all
On the other hand, I laugh at people who think -30°C makes it impossible to go outdoors in the winter...
