can you get an ATM on the MK I, then your tag and missiles share the same range, n generally..... i'd go with an ecm before a BAP on a VTOL. beware the streak launchers........
the MK II is dessent, make a fair firesupport, against ground and light mechs.

You can add an ATM-3 and a ton of ammo. You would have an extra half ton to mess with. You could always place an ECM on the design in the spot where the active probe is. The first design was meant to be a scout/strike craft, so the Active Probe fits the roll best, IMO.

normally i'd agree, but with vtol's being so fragile, the 6 hex range of the bap is jusat to close.

I probably should start doing that. Just dump the "Horrible" and replace it with "OK".  I still love how all the answers so far were for "Target Practice". I knew that one was going to get attention.
