actually 70 is the posted speed limit in parts of TX...I just moved to NY from Austin about 8 months ago. dont ask me why!

Could be worst, I could live in Houston. Where the speed limit is 55.
Or will be soon. They lowered it to meet GPA clean air standards. Like it is going to make a differance with all the Oil refineries and factorys down there. Not to mention the shipping ports.
