Greetings and Felicitations!

Always interested in "talking Trek", I'd like to hear from any interested parties about which old Star Trek is their Fave, and why.

I'll start ya off. My Fave: definitely City on the Edge of Forever.

Why: It's got humor (lots o great one-liners), great spock lines, and Joan Collins

I have a couple, Mirror Mirror and then one where they find Khan and the other being where they have the Nazi-like world with the Federation guy running things.

Then a few of the others are good, but the three above are the ones I really like. The rest come in around 2nd place.

Tribbles always gets a vote from me. But what about the episode where they're on this planet that modeled its civilization after a book about gangsters in the 1930s? Spock was walking around with a pinstriped suit, fedora, and a tommy gun. That was worth watching.

The Federation's goona make ya a deal ya can't refuse, see?

That's called "Patterns of Force". Yeah, that's also one of my personal faves. The scene where Kirk and Spock are getting dressed up in Nazi SS uniforms, and Spock tells Kirk "You should make a very convincing Nazi" is primo material!

Can't remember the name but it's the one where Spock gets his 7 year itch and Jimmy has to let Spock dust him to get out of the whole jam.

And Tribbles of course!

That episode is called "Amok Time."

Mine would be "The Doomsday Machine" where the giant sideways snowcone is blasting planets and destroying TWO Constitution class starships. Commodore Decker suicides a shuttle down the throat of the machine, slightly damaging it when all other efforts had failed. Kirk stays on the crippled Constellation with the one remaining engine set to overload in order to guarantee ramming their homemade bomb into the machine's maw. It takes some tense last minute miracle making by Scotty to fix the malfunctioning transporters to beam Kirk out in the nick of time! Whew! Nail biting suspense, 60's style!

And for my pick for the WORST Star Trek ever, an episode so bad, it's funny, "Spock's Brain" has no equal.

Spock's Brain is so bad it was used to induce vomiting by the Atlanta Poison Control Center.

...yeah, right-on there, chihawk...that episode, as well as any episode of The Next Generation that featured Wesley Crusher.
