*cough* I think my opinion of the MW:DA game goes under General Gaming dicussions, so for here I shall simply state that it is mixed.
My true purpose is to bring up something I've seen done before in games, shows, comics and so forth. I would like to know who here would support a split time-line for BattleTech/MechWarrior? I'm not quite sure exactly what year it may split, since I think it should start before the New League's dissolution. Howver, suggestions for the hows and whys will come after I get an idea of interest in the the theory. MW:DA and Classic BattleTech story lines. We can have our cake and eat it too.
PS. If this whole topic should be under General Gaming, excuse me.

Split sometime before Munch`s Dragoons gain ClanTech capabilities.

I'd suggest a split either during or right after the FedCom Civil War- have the same rough results, but flesh it out a whole lot more and actually have stuff done with what happens in the last book.
I, personally, was doing some stuff that 'Illusions of Victory' totally cancelled out.

I vote for a split right after the 4th succession war. Another split after Tukkayid. and a final one after the Civil War.
I like the long interregnum between 4thSW and Clans. I wish that there were more of them, so that those Imagineers amongst us would have room to play.

Well, think we should suggest this to FanPro? I'm still not sure exactly how much popular support is behind this. And we'd have to agree on a time(s) to split at.

Don't bother.
The "die is cast" for now and we are on a collision course with the MW:DA timeline.

I think the company would not want to "dilute" the interest in the "main" product line bt confusing their customers with too many alternatives. I would tend to agree with you Chihawk _________________ Duct tape is like the force. It has a light side & a dark side, and strings also lie under it all.
