Which mech IS Battletech?
Atlas
Warhammer
Marauder
Timber Wolf
Of these four that we have seen or see the most of in the products and such which IS the mech that say's "I am Battletech"?

Um...I's have to say Timberwolf, actually. Sad to say it replaced Marauder as the mascot. Evryone knows the Timberwolf, either from the books or the Mechwarrior 2 games. Sad to say, that the Clans hold the Mascot 'mech...but Marauder...step aside.

Unfortunately with the Marauder and Warhammer being Robotech and Unseen, they will no longer be "BattleTech". Certainly they were my two favorite out of the four choices. I have to agree that thanks to the MechWarrior Computer games, most players (especially newer ones) would see it as the Timber Wolf.
My choice is still the Warhammer

First, What the Hell is a Timberwolf??
Sucks whatever it is..... actually I think it is the Mad Cat, not sure, but it is OK. Vulture is much better though.
Atlas is still the Mech that says Btech.

I would have to agree with Sir Henry that the Atlas "Is Battletech". but Horhiro is also right that to most of the newer generation the Mad cat would be the mech of choice

A Timberwolf is the true name of the Mad Cat. If memory serves. It was Prince Victor to dubed it the Mad Cat. Saying that it look like a mix of a Marauder and a Catapult

Timberwolf (Mad Cat). IMO it is the best mech in the game.

Actually I would vote for the Battlemaster, or Atlas as being tops.. even the folks that only played the computer game should know what an Atlas looks like..
