Well I picked up Star Wars2 Attack of the Clones and it has two disks...one is the movie, and the other is an entire disk of extras and deleted secnes as well as documentries and other goodies.
So far it looks very nice and well worth the pre-order price I paided for it of $9.99 via Suncoast. And it's worth the $19.99 that is being asked for it.
Out of 10 stars I would give this one 6. Now if the third film is at least half as good then the second one then Lucas has done what he set out to do.

If it was well worth it, then why only a 6? I would say that "well worth it" equates to an 8, at least in my book. _________________ Mordel Blacknight - Site Administrator

And how could u only give ATOTC a 6? I mean...it is better than Phantom menace in every way...and I'd give Phantom Menace a 6/10.

I give it a 6 because it didn't have things I felt it should have...like more on the Clone Troops and things like that...but here is the catch...I gave Phantom a 2 out of 10...mainly because of Jar Jar.

what i don't understand is how yall can bash ep 1 like that. it paramount to bashing any single part of LotR.
sheeesh.... ep 1, 2, n 3 are one long movie. there not 3 seperate movies that tie together like ep 4, 5, n 6. And yall have no write to say what lucas's dream should be.

I just didnt like Ep1 cause it had bad acting, a poor script, bad dialouge...it also wasnt as good, in my opinion of course, as any other single Star Wars movie. There has to be a worst something...and Ep 1 took it, the thing just didnt have the goods to be better than the others.

in my opinion id give clone a 2 ..it had some decent fx , but too many sappy scenes, not what makes a good sw movie imo(like a little suspence mabey?,not knowing what would happen all through the movie).
i almost fell asleep when i saw it, it drags on and on and on and on and on and on .... oh yeah and lots of the animation(and some other scenes as well) looked comparitivley unfocused and washed with light to hide imperfections.like it was rushed and not completley done.
ps id like to thnk george lucas for ruining a perfectly good movie it was a waste of 8 bucks.

Well that's the catch...he said long before EP2 was coming out that it would be a love story...thus the need to show Anakin and Padammae at least looking like they did the horiztonial mambo sets the stage for the birth of Luke and Leia...could he have made that less important...maybe, but it wasn't that bad...and I think the actions scense made up for the love story.
Now if I am reading things right the next episode will be 90% action since the Clone Wars should be in full swing and Palaptine should begin his rise to Emperor here soon and we will see if Anakin falls into the acid or not...that has been the rumored and semi-confrimed reason for the suit he wares as Darth Vader.

i havent really followed it that much karagin if thats the way it was supposed to be i guess it did it quite well. ill look foward to the next movie,(after seeing clones i had planned on skipping it) but that does not explain the "washed out" look throughout the movie(which is really my major complaint). anyone have any comments or ideas why it was done like that?

Hmm...used to be, a long time ago, the story involved Obi-Wan tossing him into a pool of lava...
