Well if you have been to ClassicBattleTech.com you have seen the classic mechs are coming back. So it is time to vote on the Classic 4. The 4 Mechs from the get go of BTech, and ones everyone has played or loved. So vote, on the new version, both looks and function, and then add some insite.
AWAD- Has a lance painted the same of these mechs

| The SH really is the best of the new. The RAC gives it a heck of a lot more punch than it had before, and the streak 4 is also much better than the useless 2. The others are good, but havent changed as radically.

In terms of firepower, you may be right. I have never used RAC, so no real point of reference. But as a look..... seems to lost something.
I like the P-hwak, but others say it is no longer a fighter. They are right, with the ER weapons, ECM and stealth armor, it is a scout and skirmisher mech. Also the look is cool. I did not really like the Old School P-Hawk, I was a Wolvie man myself.
AWAD- Wolvies really rocked backl in the day we thought all missiles hit one location

Actually, it's both a sniper and an infighter.
At range, just turn on the SA and plink with your LL. You can do that three turns in a row, and then jump to cover, cool down, and resume the plinkage.
If you want to close, or if they close with you, just turn the SA off, and add in both erMLs.
I made it a straight transfer, same style as the other Liao upgrades, which tend to swap out the old guns for er lasers, and add endo.
I left the MG ammo in the CT simply because it's always been there. You dont need to tell me what a risk it is. =)
It's not a maxed out design; dropping the MG's and ammo in favor of some armor or small lasers would've been much better.
But it's more a Phoenix Hawk that way, IMHO.

Phoenix Hawk, simply because that`s the mech I like the most off that list. Not that Wolverines and Griffins are bad either, both have their uses. It`s only the Shadow Hawk I never got a liking for  Seriously, it`s got too many different guns to work effectively.
