I don't have it myself. I'll probably pick it up, but seeing as to how I never play in that fashion, I'll have no need for it, so I probably won't even read it. _________________ Mordel Blacknight - Site Administrator

You don't have it because your copy is sitting here at my house.

I have looked through it. I do not really see any real differences in the rules that have not already been in the other books. And a lot of the book is taken up simply by pictures of stuff. Ie MWDA units and painted BT minis. And a large section on how you should go about painting things. If you do not already own a previous book with the rules in it, or have no clue on painting, it would make for a good buy i guess. Otherwise, i would not bother with it.

Rule-wise, only the direct port from hex-based to minis is repeat information. The Dark Ages, Large Scale combat, Armorcast combat, that's all new material. There are also the two short stories in there, where we get the first glimpse of actual fighting at the start of the Jihad (FanPro's only outlet for new fiction).
We also get to see what the universe looks like in 3130, get to see how the Taurians have shrunk and the Free Worlds League fractured.

I've only paged through it at the gaming store. Hope to pick it up when I get a couple of extra bucks. The painted minis look great, kudos to you Bombtech and the others! Can't wait to check out the large scale battle rules. I'll have to shore up my gaming table so I can put all 500+ mechs/infantry/vehicles on it all at once for a battle royale!!!
