I found out about the site this morning and checked it out. It seems that after Michael Moore released Bowling for Columbine (and especially after he won the Oscar for it) a bunch of people have done some digging of their own and it turns out that Moore staged a bunch of sequences and used edit jobs to create others. Seeing this, a lot of people are now attempting to demand that Moore's Oscar be revoked as the film would now (under the definitions) no longer count as a documentary.
I'd like to hear everyone's thoughts.

I definitely agree. I wasn't that impressed with the film in the first place. It was never anything more than political propaganda, it didn't deserve an Oscar.
My favorite part was when they pointed out that Canada has the same number of weapons per capita as the U.S., but the total number of deaths in the U.S. is almost ten times greater than that of Canada (No, it wasn't per capita). I guess they overlooked that the U.S. has a population of about 280 million and Canada has about 30 million. Gee, almost 10 times as many people and there are almost 10 times as many shooting deaths. Who'da thunk that?

Michael Moore is a film maker.
He isn't a person whom anyone should be going to for straight information on politics or history.
The idea that his film won for best documentary is actually kind or irritating. Documentaries are many things, but they are at least based on some semblance of facts.

He broke the rules at just about every level of Documentery making, he should lose the Oscar. What the film said doesn't matter, what matters is that he broke the rules.
