								| This is a Rumor and a Rumor only,
I was at a convention recently and a couple of Commandoes and Game store owners said some sort ofr major announcement was due out at GenCon. I pried this out when we talked about history. I have many ideas but no reason to banter them about, just wait for GenCon. But I think it is positive for Classsic Battletech. There was a good turnout for a bunch of Btech games….. and only one MWDA game. But this Con was an older crowd.

AWAD- I will not reveal my sources and can not confirm anything said

								| Errors such as the Condor being shown in the RS as a TRACKED vehicle rather than a HOVER. Another being the Legionairre with the RAC in it's Arm instead of the Torso. A 3rd, which I'm not to sure about, are the Centurians which have Single Heat Sinks. I only mention that due to the fact that every other mech in the book has Double Heat Sinks aside from the Industrial Mechs. I believe there might have been another, but I can't think of it at the moment. | |

								| Ok...I'll grant you the track versus hover one...
Not sure on the Legionnaire one as I haven't seen the sheets yet...

And most Centurions have had single heat sinks...

Warner is writing for Classic BattleTech, but he is also a BattleMaster for MWDA...of course, MWDA and CBT are the same timeline, it's just that MWDA is further down the road, so...

Henry, I am writing for both Classic BattleTech and for MechWarrior Darkage. All of us free lancers in CBT are.

 | | As to the collectable aspect of MWDA, I love collecting things, but I like the freedom to have a fair shot to get any/all of the pieces I want without the guess work. I don't want to buy 27 packs to get the one I'm looking for. | |

I can appreciate that. I haven't had to buy allot of packs to get what I wanted. I do the next best thing! I trade for them!!! Ask Ruger, I traded my entire Sword Sworn collection for a huge amount of Steel Wolves! I buy about 4 to 6 packs a month and add to my collection. I use them not only for MWDA, but for Roleplaying in MW3 too. They are perfect for that. I use the MWDA game system to fight out a battle, which goes quickly and then continue on with my RPG. Personally I love the bigger miniatures myself because they are more articulated and posable (I can torso twist to in the direction I want to fire.) There are allot of positives for the game if one looks for them. I've had a blast playing it as well as running it as a BattleMaster, in the same way I've had fun with CBT. Its a great game though it does have somethings that I don't like about it, but I concessions for that though!

Now, if only I could convince you to trade all your Stormhammers...and perhaps your Bannson's Raiders (especially if you have any LEs for them)...for my Spirit Cat stuff...I might even throw in whatever other faction's stuff you want, except for my Republic and merc figs (although I do have 2 Rosin Douglas Mongoose IIs, so I'd be willing to trade one)...and I do wish I could get rid of my 6 SS Vultures...

Warner, thanks for clearing that up. Writing for both sides, you will always have work.

								| I do not like that Clicky-tech I do not like it near my 'mech
I will not use it with my 'tech
I will not use it, it is drek
I would not, could not, no,no,no
I would not, could not, go,go,go

I thought it was a bad idea back when they ALLEGEDLY asked our opinions on the dropship (where there were MAYBE three positives out of 50+ nays), I was unimpressed with them when they were released, and I remain unimpressed.

They are rinky plastic junk that make the poor quality transformers toys they have today look good, If you play 100% according to the rules whoever moves into weapons range first loses 90%+ of the time, and I would be more likely to give Far Country a positive review than I would to give any of the DA novels a thumbs up.

I believe someone mentioned Keith? Hell, his stuff was better than this drek.
