There should be a big group out there. Was not the Sarna guy from Grand Rapids? Also you have a commando now, he should be about to give you some leads? Also big convention in Lansing this weekend, 90 minute drive if you are a granny driver. So head on over and see if you can find anyone.

Surprised I have not run across you. I play once in a blue moon at RIW hobbies, 5 mile and Middlebelt. Lobersterback, aka Commando Glenn Hopkins runs a game every 1st or 2nd Sunday at noon. Do not remember which, but call the store and they will let you know.
I live off of Middlebelt, but in West Bloomfield. So both stores are off of Middlebelt but Garden City is a little bit of a drive. I do make some of the local conventions, like Uconn and Michicon. I am trying to run a game this year at Uconn.
So am I interested yeah?! But can I make it is the issue. After my Btech campaign died out I do not play on a regular basis. I have an AD&D game on most Fridays. Since I have a family and travel for a living only so much free time. So maybe I will try and set something up in the future.
Just in case you do go to a convention, I stand 6'6" and weight in at under 300lbs. So I am a big man, also I usually have that clean cut businessman look, not what gets classified as gamer.

Well another Michigan player appears. That is good to see. The more that shows up the stronger the community. As a note, some sort of convention is going down the last week of Sept in Southfield. Not sure of the same or time or if I can make it but it is place to meet more Btech players.
You mentioned what is sacrilege to Battle Droids.... I mean BTech players like me, Lvl 3. So I would not really want to play your crew as habit but it is cool to play in conventions and events. Also I can try something, with a new group, once.

Level 3,2,1,or 0 I will play them all about 5 years ago there was a solaris league at the Riders Hobby in Canton I played a Jenner JRF-7F the Goldbug I OWNED the light weight division 10-2 level 1 at the Foundation Convention in Lansing I had a grand old time running level 0 demos then later played in a brutal level 2 match and did well I have completed all three events in the Martial Olympiad as of last night I was # 10 in the standings IMHO a good CBT player should beable to do well at any of the four levels
