I used to coach little kids Baseball ages 8 to 12, and there were at least 3 different plays that I specifically coached my kids about.
The first was the play at the plate.. It should have been interferance when the guy pushed Varitec though, and the runners should have been moved back to 1st and second.
"Don't EVER stop trying to tag the plate until you see the umpire waving his arms calling you safe."
The second was the guy who stopped running between 3rd and home..
"Don't EVER stop running to the base I tell you to run to.. Once you are there we can argue about it."
There was another one too.. just can't remember now.. Must admit though, that was one of the ugliest games I've seen played in the playoffs ever.
