==Overview:==
The Firespray represents a surprising offering from Jalastar Aerospace.

In order to create a mech that offered as much firepower as possible for the
tonnage, they made the decision to go with Rocket Launcher tubes. Although
only single-shot, the launchers (which can fire either one rocket at a time or
the entire bay at once) have considerable range and with the sheer multitude
can do considerable damage. Backing them up is a lone UAC/2 mounted in the
left arm (it is believed that the main designer and the main tester were both
left-handed), four machine guns, and a medium laser. In additon to this, the
unit is also fully jump capable.

==Variants:==
Some commanders feel that having a unit return home with low or empty ammo
bins but still fairly intact is better than having a mauled unit return home
after trying to fight with a single, comparatively weak weapon. As such, it
has been requested that the laser be replaced with either two more ten racks
or another machine gun and half ton of ammo.

In addition, despite the prototype having the UAC on the left arm, Jalastar
promises that the left-arm models will be special-order only and that most of
the units will be right-handed.

This mech is loaded down with the most overrated weapon in battletech the Rocket launcher, a fantatic landscaping tool because that is what you will be doing because somewhere between 1/4 to 1/3 of those 140 rockets will actualy hit the target the rest will splatter all over the countryside .The ones that hit will scatter across the target skinninng off armour but rarely penetrating. To give an example of the ineffectivness of the Rocket launcher,recently in a company vs.Trinary game with our group. The player running the IS force fielded a lance of tanks that had been LRM carriers but were refitted with rocket launchers. a 600 rocket barrage .He bragged at how he was going to take out our assaults the first round he got initative and called out the four biggest assaults moved in and cut loose :600 rockets when the dust had settled and the smoke had cleared the mechs had been hit with betwween 150 and 180 rockets each .The rockets scattered across the surface of the mechs skinning off lots of armour but rarely penetrating once in a while there was a floating crit but at the end the now defenceless tank was facing a assault mech piloted by a VERY angry clanner I have yet to see a rocket launcher carrier live up to its rep rockets are just too inacurate to be worth it.you can figure you mech will hit with 30-40 of those rockets and those will scatter over the mech and unless it is a light mech or one with a thinner than average armour load all you will do is piss him off and you will be badly minced mint flavoured dog food.

At least the design matches it name. A wide spray of firepower, nevermind that it is more landscaping and infantry scaring.
