==Overview:==
One of the first mechs produced as a joint effort between The Wolves in Exile and the Kell hounds. The Hammerback is a plodding lumbering design that is incredibley expensive but aside from the use a a XL engine is amongst the most solid mechs ever built. Mounting the best the Inner Sphere and Clans have to offer the Hammerback is going to be a very tough nut to crack.

==Capabilities:==
Mounting Hardened armor and the mysterious Blue Shield, along with the new Clan Watchdog system and reinforced internal structure as well as a compact gyro system, the Hammerback has the ability to shrug off damage that would otherwise disable mechs of the same tonnage.

Still working on the Fluff. But its an interesting design. I really wish that the Lvl 3 designation would go away as I hate the difference. But Im not shure how it would handel in a battle as I thought it up at work today and decided to build it when I got home. But please let me know what you think, and offer some Ideas they are always welcome. Im not entirely sure if I like the design yet so I have no attachment to it. And if you hate it say so but please tell me why

Too big and too slow...try maybe doing this with a 50-60 or maybe 75 ton machine.

You know I was expecting something more along the lines of a Hunchback with a Heavy Gauss Rifle than this. This machine does not really have enough punch to warrant it's name. Try something more sneaky or armor sounding.

Hehe Yeah its more of a concept mech I was working with. (Bored at work and needed something to occupy ty mind for the next 5 hours) , But Yeah Ill give a lower weight machine a try. The use of the Hardened armor and the Blue shield could be very interesting. (Make awesomes almost useless)

Thank you for the coments Keep them comming.

It is an interesting design. A little light on the weaponry, and a lot of focus on electronics. The armor is impressive. I'll give you that. But with the light weapons load, even though its Clan, and the slow speed, lack of jumpjets, etc, the vehicle is more vulnerable to the pack tactics that the Inner Sphere uses. Sure it can take out one mech, probably in one volly! But not enough, not fast enough, before it is overwhelmed.

Also, the high cost will make it so that to field one means that your opponent can field two or three lighter machines for the same price.

Raven has some valid points, tho I would hope that the electronics and armor would prevent them from being as bad as he makes them out to be.

Hopefully your lighter version will be less costly and have some more viable selling points.

Just what the CBT universe needs: another level 3 100 ton mech.

I was just thinking that counter ECM attacks, combined with some more mobile heavies could be fairly devestating.

I was sort of annalysing as if I was about to launch an attack against this thing.
