==Overview:==
After recovering from the laughing fit produced by the Chickenhawk, the AFFS
commissioned a unit that could help show the Taurians the err of their ways.
Using their own modified Defender chassis as a base, the Defender MK II was
born. While ten tons heavier, the MK II still retains the same basic shape.
This ten tons was neccessary in order to accomodate what was to come next: the
addition of an HV AC/2. While it still only does the damage of a normal AC/2,
the HV model allows the unit to reach out and hit targets up to 30 hexes out.
Granted, there is only 2/3 of the ammo per ton, but if used properly then this
should not be a problem.
Backing up the HVAC/2 is a lone LRM 5. At first the LRM 5 may seem useless
until one realizes that not only will it allow the unit to keep fighting, but
it is also a part of the counterbalance mechanism to compensate for the
HVAC/2.
==Variants:==
Like the original Defender, the MK II is designed so that the weapons can be
altered at will.

Not bad, the HV really gives you some nice long reach in sharing the love. I like the fluff bit too about the counterbalance.
