After spending an hour perusing this site, I have to say congrats! Excellent site!. I used to play BT at university in the early 90's, then moved and was forced to rely on PC games to stay in the grove. However, that lost its shine and for awhile BT was dormant in my house, except for the occasional novel. What I fool I was! Once BT is in your blood, you can never leave it. So, the dust is off the books and the pieces are being put back in shape. Now I need a game!
So, my question is this.... What are Credits? Currently, it says I have 0 Credits. Please explain...

Well, you'll have 1 credit now. 
First, thanks for the compliments on the site. I put a lot of my personal time and money into it, and it's much appreciated to know that people like it.
As for credits, the FAQ explains what credits are. You can click here if you want to make it easier for you. Essentially, however, credits are a way for you to get free things. In the top Navigation menu for the Bar and Grill you'll see a little place called the Store. In there are items that can be given "bought". They include a personalized rank/images/affiliation, mordel.net email address, and a couple sourcebooks. I'll be adding more stuff over time. But with credits, you can buy the things that are listed, at no cost to you. Doing different activities will earn you credits as outlined in the FAQ. So, you get free stuff for participating at this site.
And yes, 1 of those is 1 credit per approved post. So, once we approve your post, you'll see a credit.

lol.... That was too easy. All that time spent cruisin' the site and yet I somehow miss the FAQs. Thanks for the explanation.

You're not the first to ask a question that the answer was in the FAQ. After all, it's sort of like buying a new PC game. Who takes the time to read the book. Usually you just install it and start playing.

Mods get credits just like the rest of you do. They can spend them just like everyone else. They got a bonus amount when I instituted credits for being a moderator. The rest they get just like anyone else.
