Overview: The OCCOPOGO was developed shortly after the invasion of the clans into the Inner Sphere. The Goal of this Low Tech Battlemech was to give Outer Rim worlds and Militaries the affordability and the technology level the Outer Rim can maintain easily. The OCCOPOGO was designed with close quarters combat, and garrison duty in mind. Clan training discourages Melee combat in a fight, so naturally Royal Castings implemented a Mech sword into the design. The design team also incorporated an improved version of Cellular Ammunition Storage Equipment called CASE type II. With this improved CASE II offering the components in the protected area(s) better change of survival in an ammo explosion, it was seen as a “must-have”. The com system is a combination of Military and Civilian applications, combined with the Multi-Track II Targeting and Tracking systems, this Battlemech offers some innovations that might work well with other units on the field as Support. The most common variant of this machine replaces the Light Auto-Cannon/5 with LRM-10’s and keeping the 2 tons of ammunition, making that variant able to best use the Multi-Track II gear.

Yes, it is an Ungainly beast. But Extreemly easy to maintain. Fusion Engines are exeedingly rare in Outer Rim worlds.

Sorry about that, my Microsoft Frontpage made the code and I haven't the expertise to pick the code to make the page smaller, and more "able to fit" with the extensive tabling it has.

I like it. Within the right scenario it would work well. Especially for under-funded and under-supplied troops out in the sticks.
