This is based on the GHR-5N Grasshopper. 6 heatsinks are ripped out of the 5N with reainder replaced with double heat sinks. The PPC is replaced by an ER PPC, while the head-mounted medium laser is replaced with a TAG unit. A standard large laser is added to the CT [just like the GHR-5H] while a Beagle Active Probe is mounted in the LT. A half-ton of armor was removed, aolong with the heat sinks, to make room for these changes. This version of the Grasshopper is now the heavy scout that I always envisioned this 'Mech to be.

Double heat sinks do wonders for any laser boats. So this is an expected improvement but I think it is the easy way. But you did go with an idea and I like the BAP. Problem I have is the TAG? Why? unless rules have changed, you either fire TAG or weapons, you can do a ton of damage with the weapons this beast has. So drop the TAG, add a SPL, it acts like a machine gun so helps in case you stumble into infantry. Another idea is drop the PPC and go with a pair of ERLL and play with the load out.
One final idea is ECM, either find them or hide yourself and run for it.
AWAD- Recon my ass, your mech is a killing machine
