If you get a warning pop-up that "-AUMagic" is trying to access the internet and can't figure out what that is, it's the Windows Automatic Update.

Bahhh... if you use ME you deserve what you get!!
I've had Windows 2000 now for a quite a while and have not had a single problem. Why people don't upgrade from ME is beyond me. They always say, "I don't have that many problems." Well, what you should be saying is 'I don't have ANY problems'.

OK, I don't have any problems.
Actually, this isn't an ME problem, it's a Zone Alarm problem.

Yep, and you're using an OS that can't run 90% of the programs and games out there on it's own...you tell me who has the problem

You do.
Check to see how many viruses are out there for Windows.
Check for the other OS's (Mac, Mandrake, RedHat....)
See the 9000 to 7 ratio....

It's very easy to not get viri...all it takes is a small amount of common sense and a decent anti-virus program.
The common sense you'd be on your own for, and a decent anti-virus program can be found for free.
Advantage is still clearly on the windows side of the line.

Hey, with a group as large as windows users you're bound to get a few idiots.
Heck, just look at 95% of AOL users...
