==Overview:==
Based heavily on the sucesses of the Shamash Reconnaissance vehicle produced by
clan Blood Spirit, Clan Snow Raven decided to try to create a recon vehicle
that had more armor better speed and one that would pose a serious threat to
any vehicle and many light and even medium mechs. Very few expenses were spared to make this project successful. Whether it is a sauces remains to be seen.

==Capabilities:==
Amazing speed and above average armor have given the Fire Wisp a very
interesting reputation. In tests they have been able to survive and win duels
with mechs up to twice its size. Capable of bursts of speed up to 302 Km/h it
can quickly close and or disengage to get a better targeting solution or
leave the battlefield altogether. In keeping with the spirit of Shamash Recon
vehicle the Fire Wisp has only one crew person and much like the Shamash and
her pilots, Fire Wisp pilots have developed at an alarming rate. Reliance on
themselves only has allowed them to excel and have the mind set of loyal
dedicated Mech warriors.
Intended to allow the pilot a longer stay in the field, some minor changes
were required. First added were 2 small cargo bays on the right and left side
of the vehicle. This allows the pilot to pack some creature comforts such as
changes of clothes minor tools food and weapons.

One of the few complaints with the Shamash recon vehicle was the poor frontal
visibility. To remedy this clan Snow Raven scientists moved the turret and
cockpit assembly. Surprisingly enough the turret rests right above and behind
the cockpit. A light tag unit was added for range finding and to call in
support fire.

==Deployment==
Currently the highest numbers of Fire Wisp are with Clan Snow Raven, but a
surprisingly high number have shown up in the taumans of the Diamond Shark and
even more surprising is the alarming amount found in the tauman of Clan Nova
Cat. It has been assumed that the Diamond Shark merchants have been selling
to the Inner Sphere for a while now and this may be one of the first signs of
that clans double dealing. Its also rumored that the Nova Cats purchased the
vehicles before they abandoned the home worlds and joined the new Star
League.

A savannah Master that OD'd on steriods and HGH. I like it. Howabout a varient that uses controls for an elemental pilot in his suit? A point of 5 would be able to zip about and cause true chaos and devastation.

Maybe the Hell's Horsies are missing something here?

Yeah its more expensive than I would like but I figure this would even be able to act as a hunter/killer against IS light mechs, and even some of the mediums would have reason to fear these. Get a star of these working together and they would cause utter chaos across the board. It would be interesting to see if a star of these could take down an assult. My guess is they could. they have the armor to take a hit or 2, It really depends on what rules level you are using for them.

Some of the faster assaults would not be troubled too badly. But the Annilator (2/3 I think) would just get swarmed. Might get in a few lucky hits but mostly these little blighters would just run circles around it. (I have done that with my Sprite BTW lots of fun. I still have to post the figures for it. A light mech with masc that can run a full map each turn.)
