Fox hits a final few keys on his computer. "There, that should do it. I have the system all set up, and it works with the simulators I tested it with. I call it the Neural Analyzer and Decipher Unit, or NADU. But simulators aren't real life." He turns to Sir Henry. "I need a donor 'Mech to test the system on. Anything will do, so long as it is repairable. Heck, if it is badly damaged it saves me some trouble since I would need to disassemble most of it anyway. Any ideas, sir?"

I've got an old MHL-X1 if that's any good to you...
My Striker's all I really use at the moment.
The flamers been replaced by a med laser though, hope it's not a problem.
When your done, I'd like it back though.

Fox shakes his head. "No, I would need to totally tear it down and rebuild it from the inside out with new controlls and computer systems. And even if I did give it back, it would no longer be of any use to your pilots. Thank you for the offer though."

*Fox recalls that Fred has a small stockpile of hatchet weilding mechs, but has left with Jimmy, Motown and Sir Henry to defend the Inner Shpere from seafood. Luckily, Fred contacts the Bar and Grill to send off more intel on what to expect*
"We got large Carps trudging around, with all the characters at the B&G that could potentialy turn into main characters in a story leading to the fishy's defeat, you guys are a target"
"After the M--------s, fish wont cause a stink in these parts without our say"Vagabond smirks
"How's Fox doin' with his noggin'?"
"Hold on a sec...Fox, Fred is on the line, you wanna ask him?"
A few seconds later Fox is on the horn"Hey, do you think you could spare a 'Mech, I need one to totally strip down and rebuild, I set up a way to do it, it works on the principle..."
Fred cuts Fox off" I don't want to know, take either one of the Nightskys or one of the Hatchetmens, in return, and I don't care how, a Buccaneer would be nice, or another Berserker."
"Thanks, I could probably swing a Berserker easier than a Buccaneer, but I will look"

Fox grins at Sir Henry. "A Hatcheman. I can work with that...in fact, I have ideas already. First up will be a more powerful engine, since I have to dissemble the thing anyhow....then after I'm done, I'll find a Buccaneer for him. Alright, alright, alright..."
With a manical laugh, Fox unhooks his computer and heads out to the 'Mech Bay to get started on the tear down.

Just tell me where you want the Buccaneer delivered...
Better yet, I'll set up a drop point and you can pick it up whenever you want...

Fox's voice comes back on the radio, the sound of tools in the background. "Well, I plan to get the Buccaneer myself. I'll need the practice, plus I need to test the system. No telling how rusty I am after this length of time..."
There is a whine of hydraulics. "Stripping is going well, but this is the easy part, let's face it...putting it back together is going to be the tough one. I am going to scavenge some endo steel and replace the bones, but I'll keep most of the outer panels. Only the shoulders and above will be getting any cosmetic changes..." Something very heavy hits the ground in the background.
"What I could use," Fox begins weilding a plasma cutter while talking into a headset, "are plenty of high end computer parts, including extra bits of the balance circuitry that 'Mechs use. A neural feedback interrogator would be nice too, since I may be able to use some of the parts. They were desgined to repair damage anyway."
Fox cuts away another large chunk of armor. "Another thing is I was wondering around the armament...original idea was an SSRM4, with an LRM5 and 2MPLAS...currently I am leaning towards something more similar to my prey, with an ERLLAS, SSRM4, and 2MLAS...any thoughts, sir? I think the first variant lacks punch myself."

Ok, you get the Mech and I'll get the Parts... In fact I have a lot of what you need at the shop...
You're Right, The first lacks balls. The second is better.
