Is is me or was the most recent thread here (except this one) made back in September of last year?
So... has it been that long since anybody played some other game?
To end this awful gaming inactivity I will state that I have played other games.
One of these games is a card game where you must hit 20 or less and get higher then the opponent to win. As part of the game you must choose out 10 cards from your total deck and then are dealt 4 of them, to use as you will to help you hit 20. Some of the card are minus ones, some can be both plus and minus. To win the match you have to win 3 times.
So... tell me the name of the game and where it is played to prove that you too have played some other game sometime more recent than last september.

Well pretty much the only games I have played since then are a couple of D&D sessions, a couple of BattleTech Games, and lots of Civilization III: CONQUESTS and Neverwinter Nights: Hordes of the Underdark. AND those two games are just SWEET!!!

Not a clue on that game. I do not play many card games beyond UNO and all of its spin offs. Although I do have a card game to recommend if you can find it. The name is guillotine. It is set in the French revolution and the object is to collect the most nobel's heads. The game is a kick, not to mention twisted. Mostly though, I just work, sleep and go to SCA events. Not much extra time for gaming anymore.

another good card game is "Lunch Money"
Oh and there is this one called FLUXX that is quite fun the rules and objectives keep changing as you play your cards.

I haven't played Lunch Money in ages... That's a riot of a game.... 'I'll using the B*tchSlap card'

Between college, work, andsome VERY late night phonecalls from overseas (sucks having friend who can afford to study abroad) I just havn't had much time for game, however I've recently aquired Dynasty Tactics 2 and Call of Duty, both are great games.
as for that card game I know I've played it but just can't remember that it's name is...

I've played other games. AD&D 2nd edition, Cyberpunk 2020, Praedor...
As for computer games I've mainly stuck to Age of Wonders: Shadow Magic.

Heh, heh.
I always keep an UNO deck around the house.
I've done Call of Duty too, lots of fun. I love the sten gun. And at last a shooter where, if the mood strikes me I can just equip that .45, load up on magazines, and do myself some gunslinging. I've always been for games letting me build up a lot of pistol ammo, cause sometimes I just feel like it. I do Neverwinter off an on too, most of the way through chapter 2 now. And lately a friend got me to try Gothic, an older game with pretty nice graphics. And soon I plan to try Total War with the Romans. And when I really want to micromanage the galaxy, theres Galactic Civilaztions with the biggest map.
But that's not where I played that card game. The game is called Pazaak, it is played in cantinas. And to play it you have to be a soldier of the Old Republic who wants to have a lightsaber and become a Knight of the Old Republic.
I really like this little gamelet within a game. And I really hope they soon add this to the Star Wars Galaxies game (Marshal Johnnyreb, rifle toting Master Doc on Kauri) I could dig hanging out in the cantina playing pazaak with the other players while I heal my battle fatigue. They need to make those little round chess tables usable too IMHO.

Been playing a game called Rise of Nations..
Excellent game. It is an Age of Conquerors style game, but it takes you from sticks and stones to nuclear missles..
OK so I'm sick!
