Way back when I was still in school I took all the mechs from the 3025 TRO and designed my own mods for tech upgrades. This was my Scorpion upgrade. It would require a major facility to do and lots of cred for a mech considered by many of the time to be a tank on feet.

Nasty, but expensive. I'd rather go cheap on the Scorpion variants, though. One I did was make it into a laser boat, just dump the weapons, install DHS and 6 MLs. Use the weight savings for increased armor.
