Wile I agree that would have made for a better design, these two units were cobbled together from parts during a long campaign I ran a long time ago. At that time the IS didn't have ER medium or ER small lasers only the large and PPC and I didn't want to shorten it's range with the pulses(which we had some stocked but not yet installed in anything). And we didn'tt have any ER larges in our cache yet. And when we did we threw them on our 2 riflemen.
Most of my designs date back to shortly after the 3050 TRO first came out. And a lot of the designs either came from my merc group Bridger's Brigade or my tech group Mart'n'Marv's MechMart. _________________ If ignorance is bliss, then why are you so miserable?
