I like them alright, but it seems like half the posters here have them as their unit patch, more than any other board... do the AFFS recruiters come by here?

For a time there weren't many choices...as people think about it they're slowly changing to the ones they really want.

Well, I've been FedSuns since the start...but when I got here, there were only a few choices so I got the Comstar affiliation. Once Mordel, in his infinate wisdom and mercy, added the Federated Suns affiliation, I switched immediately and have not looked back.

I think in part because the Fed Suns was the most well developed house in the novels. Followed closely by Kurita and then the rest kind of at the same level.
It's kind of too bad too.. Liao could have supported some very interesting novels, as could Marik...

I remember (not all that long ago) when Mordel hadn't added the FS ranks yet. It was sad. I took ComStar because it was a neutral as I could get. Now, of course, I can show my true colors. I am a Federated Son and I do it for the Power and the Glory. (Besides, that sort of 19th century Britain and France in the age of empires is an appealing paradigm.)

The FS kicks butt. What other explanation is needed?

The imperialism of the Federated Suns represents all that is evil, and I will be happy to kill Fedrats in great numbers any time of day.

Yes, that is why they've fought four succsession wars since the star leauge, to invade the other guy's territory and take it. It could be argued that the FWL under Thomas Marik isn't really expansionist though...

Yes, the FWL has enough enemies within their own borders.

A lot of us are oldsters. Once upon a time ago, before the witch and the dwarf, ther was a willy and smart prince who worked to build things instead of blowing them up..........
I liked the cause. Since then I have gone off on my own path, but I still like the Fedsuns more than the others. Takashi, Theodores daddy was a hard and somewhat inflexible man. Maximillian was busy living up to the "Mad Max" nickname. Janos was to busy moping about his dead kin. Only the Steiner and Davion bloodlines had zip to them, and being a guy, I identified better with Hanse.
