Hey Daph, clan LRMs have no short range so are just as useful at range 1 as at range 21. Perhaps before dissing an equipment you should know its capabilities. I had to research the rotary ACs because I've never used em before, but now I love em.

I'd consider the NARC in itself an odd thing to have on this clanner mech. It's wasteful for only one mech, but massed fire is dishonorable. Not to mention less than glorious...

I have seen this variant used in a circle of honor fight. The other clanner was an aerospace pilot. The mech pilot used the narc beacon to tag the fighter so he could hit it with the LRM's easier.

That's probably one of the best uses for a NARC beacon i've ever heard of. Usually I don't think they're particularly flexible.

Something you guys have missed, is perhaps this is for bandit hunting where honor is left behind. But yeah, it is an odd thing, I just didnt care for Daphne's statement. Also, I like the usage described above against aerospace fighters, good idea.
