Wondering what everyones favorite medium mech tonnage is, for purposes of playing with canon designs.

45 tons is my fav medium, they can get fast, but they have good armor and weapons to back that speed normally. The Wolf Trap was the first medium mech I ever piloted, and I just fell in love with the weight it fell into.

I enjoy this weight class the most along with the Heavies.
two of my favorite Mediums are in the 50T range: The Hunchback and the Centurion.
In the Clan vs IS battle I have learned to appreciate the Phoenix Hawk.

This was a hard choice. I chose the 50 tonner because it was the average. I enjoy most medium mechs and have no real favorite weight class. However I do like the variety in the weight class.

Most real workhorse mediums are 50 tonners, IMO. That's why it's my favorite weight among mediums.

Wow, so far these are some very skewed results...nothing for 40 tons at all is just scary. Must mean 40 ton canon mechs suck hehe.

Assassin, Cicada, Clint, Whitworth. Names to avoid at all cost. There are some good 40-tonners, but not good enough compared to the heavier mediums.

Hey, I'm using both the Cicada and the Assassin right now, and kicking some ass with them too...of course, the Cicada is the PPC carrying kind; the standard variant

The only 40tonner i can think of worth mentioning is the Chimera, a nice workhorse design
