Heres another attempt at a new design (enthusium or addiction??) if exsits already? or is it just not right? does the fluff work? all comments, suggestions, detrements, are once again welcome
name Goliath GOL-CK7
tech IS level 2 3067
engine standrd 3/5/3 JJs
weapons
2ERLLs
GAUSS
GAUSS AMMO 24
5MDPLS
AMS
AMS AMMO 12
ECM
TSM
armor ferro fibrous 17.5tons 307points
OVERVIEW
Blackwell industries where commised by a unknown mercanery unit (possible the kell hounds ) to build a battle mech capable of surviving any damage and keep fighting. Manuverabilty was also a factor to make up for slow ground speed JJs were added. It was designed to have powerfull longterm firepower. and the armor to stay alive long enough to use it.The addition of AMS, CASE and TSM late in development proved to be a valuable point which impresed their misterious clients
CAPABILITIES
the ERLLs and GAUSS rifle give good longrange striking power and the 5MDPLs are good protection from any one trying to close not that this mech cant look after itself running hot the TSM augmented fists can seriously put the hurt on a mech that gets to close .The TSM in the legs give it the extra manuverabilty in a tight spot and it can always jump clear
DEPLOYMENT
Currently undergoing final tests on the blackwell test grounds on Outreach. A lance as already been sent to the unknown mercenarys as the were belived to be very immpressed with initial test results
DISTRUBUTION IN NEXT POST CANT FIT HERE FOR SOME REASON

I would say that looking at the formatting he is using pencil and paper to do it.

wrong. he is using mordel\'s TRO.

as for the design.... no suprise its a 100ton behemoth. i am getting so sick of 100 ton designs. gimmie more 90t designs. i say drop the er ll's as you don't have the heat sinks for them and use the weight to add an ER PPC and a SRM 4. you get ranged attack and increase your, IMHO poor, anti-vehicle/anti-infantry abilities. again, IMHO that AMS is a waist as you do not have sufficent ammo.

anyway, here is his mech via HMPro

Well rest assured young-en I relied on pencil, paper, and calculator for many years before I finally acquired this computer and turned out many fine designs by hand.Indeed many of the designs I have posted were first done by hand and later run through an HM program.

Heck, I still prefer pencil and paper over other methods. It allows me to continually tinker with a design while keeping all my numbers right in front of me no matter where I am or what I'm doing on the puter.
