This system uses a special Fluid to emurse the pilot and fill the cockpit. This Fluid is oxigenated and can be "Breathed" by the pilot, but as it is a liquid, the pilot cannot speak... so Radio gear is all but useless. The hydro-sonic speakers needed by the pilot to Hear normaly in the liquid, come with the system.. but the pilot still has to relay things via keyboard (Much like a Chat program), as he is unable to speak. Another advantage of this system is negation of pressure. When you design a Submersible vehicle or battlemech, water Depth needs to be monitored closely. The Maximum Depth for a BattleMech is usualy Depth-3 (Roughly 300 ft.). With this system the Pilot and Cockpit have no air in them, therefore are not subject to implosion normaly allowing a vastly greater depth of thousands of feet.
Game Mechanics: No effective depth limit.
Takes up 2 tons 1- crit in the cockpit/head, and has an aditional 1-ton 1-crit Pump located in a torso location.
This system was designed for Utility Mech's Ceres Metals uses in aquatic Mining.
