Okay, I have reached the half way point of my tour in Iraq. Actually last week was the half way point.
Things are going well and so far really good. The weather has been werid. We have had snow and rain from January to about mid April and now it is getting hotter and drier. Northern Iraq is very interesting and a lot cooler then down south.
If all goes as planned and we know that nothing in the military goes as planned, I should be home in about 5 and half months...fingers crossed.
I would like to thank everyone who sent me mech sheets and other stuff, you folks have really helped make things less of strain and easier to handle.
Thank you!
