when the FC Civil War ends?
My take on this is House Marik, they have not been attacked, they have had almost 20 years to rebuild from the 4th War and they are selling military hardware to almost everyone in the Inner Sphere and I would not be surprised if they are selling to both the Diamond Sharks and the Periphery powers as well.
All of the other houses have been in some kind of fight since 3055 that has cause them to look inward more then outward. The Combine has had the Black Dragons and the Ghost Bears to worry about not to mention the rebuilding of the reclaimed worlds form the Jaguars. The Fed-Com has been tearing it's guts out in civil war. The CapCon has had a mini-civil war with the St. Ives Compact, and is rebuilding from that, plus they are playing king maker in the Chaos March. ComStar is falling apart and WoB is become something else.
So I think when the civil war ends and the smoke clears House Marik will be the top dog...

Yeah, FWL will be high and mighty...until the cat gets out of the bag about Thomas not being Thomas. Then watch as there is a nice little civil war there.
CapCon retakes the Chaos March, then Sun Tzu dies and no one is quite sure what to do. Byt the time they can figure it out, the FS stops them cold. DC gets stomped by someone, maybe a nice little war between Nova cats and the Bear.
At the end of the day, everyone is spanked and then WoB can take power.
What a total crock.

Actually...what is going to happen is they wont tell us and just skip to the next part.

With the ways things are going (Into the Dark Age I mean)I am will to bet that Victor will win the war, But both Kat and Vic will lose their thrones, Most likely to their cusins.
And the once pround Frederated Commonwealth will be no more.

Did not FASA really cut the novels to so many words? That would be enough to kill any story.
Imagine War And Peace as a short story. ICER shutters at the thought.

When they went with ROC as their publisher of the novels is when the storyline to a hit on the word count...hell think of Lord of the Rings if ROC had been the publisher...
