I know many BTech players have issued complaints about ICE powered 'Mechs used in combat in BTech...but have you ever considered the possibilities of using something similar in a high tech version of D&D? Well, wonder no more...instead, go out and get
DRAGONMECH
This is a new sourcebook and setting brought to you by Sword & Sorcery Studios for use in the D20 system...now you can combine the magic and classes of your D&D campaign with steam-powered (or slave powered or coil spring powered or magic powered or even undead) mechs, power armor and steamborgs (steam-powered cyborgs) and duke it out with all the enemies your DM can create in a post-apocalyptic world where the moon is falling...face lunar dragons in your mech and help bring glory back to your ancestors' devastated homeland...
Seems interesting, eh?
Ruger (what can I say? I saw the title, flipped through the book some, and just had to get it...)

Magic and technology? I prefer Rifts and Shadowrun myself. _________________ If ignorance is bliss, then why are you so miserable?

Shadowrun and Battletech and DnD keep me busy enough. All have magic.
Those that disagree reread what Wolf and Kai Allard-Liao do.

I had the idea of trying to incorporate my MW char into a friend's d&d game one time. Would be one of those silly interdimentional time rift thingies where my char and his mech would just sorta fall through it somehow and end up in the middle of this d&d group with some other people that were playing in it. Never did get the chance to actually do it once. I think it woulda been cool. I was so hoping to be able to blast a dragon with a PPC

i think it might be fun to take a battlemech and a dragon into a fight. take the almighty atlas and put it up against a red dragon. _________________ A wise man speaks because he has something to say. A fool speaks because he must say something.

Dragon wins. I love playing a dragon the way they are supposed to be played. Using his magic spells combined with any magic items in his vast hoard he could wipe the floor with the Atlas. _________________ If ignorance is bliss, then why are you so miserable?

What about an Atlas with an enchanted AC20 of Much Devastation. Or an Hatchetman with a Hatchet of Life drain? That might be an interesting weapon to create stats for.
