I almost don't want to know...
Umm, not to be getting ansy here, but we've been getting ready for a couple of weeks, and despite admonitions to the contrary, we now have a warship parked over our heads.
Maybe we should get going before someone goes nuts and starts shooting.
(ooc: I was GMing a mechwarrior game a few weeks ago and staged a bar fight. Everything was going fine until one of my players whipped out his pistol and fired it into the roof. I figured if the patrons heard gunshots, they'd pull out their own weapons. What was supposed to be a gentle brawl, mostly non-lethal, broken up by the MPs ended up as a close range gunfight. Final count: three players out of action for six weeks, one player in a coma, two players in the hospital for three days suffering from gunshot wounds to the head.
I'd really rather we spend our bullets on the Grey Matter, or whatever Mordal is cooking up for us...) _________________ "Politics is the Art of looking for trouble, finding it everywhere, misdiagnosing the problem, and applying the wrong solution."

::Having left not long after Mordel's announcement, StarRaven re-enters the bar, clad in an AFFS issue jacket and pants for cold weather ejections, MechWarrior's boots, and the obligatory rowelless spurs. He has a belt pack (a la Farscape), a boot knife, and an M1911 .45 in a thigh holster (again a la Farscape).::
Alright, here I am. Did I miss anything? ::looks around at the chaos of everyone showing off:: Guess not.
Anyways, I'm a MechWarrior, not an infantryman, so don't expect me to run around with a rifle or something. ::settles into a booth:: Wake me up when Mordel comes out. ::goes to sleep::
OOC:
I've been ignoring this thread for some reason, but I dunno why. I've been reading it, just never posted.

But also very painful when you get a shot in the eyes. (The goggles... they do nothing)

OOC: I'm just letting you guys exhaust your conversations. Don't want to rush into things here. A day in real life isn't a day in the B&G world. They'll be something soon enough. I'll have more time when the World Series is over.
