I havn't heard from anyone about this in some time.

I might be. But since you want a max of two 'Mechs based on existing designs, I'm not sure if I'll be able to come up with the other ... like two I have remaining. The vast majority of my usual designs are based on pre-existing ones.

You can PM them if you want...you can also use email, just PM me and let me know how you want to do it.
I can also extend the deadline, if people need a bit more time. I'd rather have a broad competition.
I figure for judging I'll post the designs and set up a poll, so it's not just my opinion, but anyone who wants can weigh in.

Gotta agree with that. Having this coming weekend would help a lot. That'd give me the time to work up my fluff glimmer, and to tweak the 'Mechs so they mesh better.
It's supposed to be eight designs that work well together. But do they have to work in a group of eight? Can they be a company consisting of these eight designs, with a few used twice?

My designs mesh together really well. The lightest can work with the heaviest.
Lightest is 25, largest is 80. They worked together and defeated an Atlas and a Commando, pretty damn sweet even though my opponent is an amatuer.

Consider an extension granted. I'll set a deadline at a later date.
Just to clarify, the eight designs can be deployed in companies or battalions in any manner you see fit. I'm not asking for two lances per se, but eight designs which, in conjunction, could respond to just about any battlefield situation.
