TAG - is it just me, or do most people use this piece incorrectly? I am 99% sure that it states in my Master Rules (first edition) that you forfeit your own weapons fire when you use this piece of equipment. Meaning that the Cauldron-Born B is pretty useless as a spotter.....

Or do I remember this incorrectly? I don't have my rules accessible at the moment.

I.C.E. engines for 'mechs. I have asked this question previously but forgotten the answer. Does this cause heat for movement? Ballistic and missile weapons do cause heat in 'mechs (as opposed to vehicles), but does movement? It wasn't stated in MaxTech (also first edition, I'm afraid).

If you use TAG you can't make any other attacks that turn.

The answer used to be "yes", then it was "no", and now I have no idea what it is.

Thanks for the confirmation on my first question, chihawk. Anyone know what the current ruling is about ICE engines?

Another question: Is it ok to buy Aerotech2 (instead of Aerotech2 revised edition). Or did it contain too many mistakes? If it is merely a case of new equipment, or updating the universe to 3070, well..... (there is a sale on in a local store, where the original ed costs 7€, while the revised ed is € 25)

What about Battlespace? How badly out of date is that?

Generally, I'm not going to play space fights in a hurry, other than what is printed about atmosphere combat in city tech. But I always love to find additional background infos. Like, where would I read about Hellcats? And no, I don't mean the WW2 ones!

AT2rev has alot of rule changes and other tidbits...including at least one interesting story involving the Knights of the Sphere and a certain...other...group...

Battlespace is ancient, withered old crone now...virtually dead...

As for info on Hellcats, try the 2750 TRO...
