I don't know any personally. The girls I know (who are gamers) tend towards D&D and Vampire: The Masquerade. Not many of the girls I know are gamers.

My wife, my best friend's wife, my older step-daughter and now my younger step-daughter wants to learn how to play. And as soon as she is able, my daughter will want to play, I'm sure.

There are quite a few over on the Classic BattleTech forum, and at least one of the writers is a woman...

I've got one in my game right now.
A couple more on deck, but they can't get over here because they have real jobs.

The only regular female gamer I know hates BattleTech.
It's not that she dislikes the game itself, but the guys who drool over the TROs make a bad impression.

Im sure that my daughter will want to play once shes old enough. Shes a bit of a daddy's girl, and once she sees me play, she will want in too. Every time I play Mechwarrior on my PC, shes right next to me asking if Im 'Playing robots game.'
All of the other female gamers I have known either play D&D or LARP Vampire. ( Hey, dont knock LARP till youve tried it. )
All the other women I know are too normal.

Been there. Done that.
Maybe it's the reason I'm single. Though I'm working on that problem too... _________________ "Politics is the Art of looking for trouble, finding it everywhere, misdiagnosing the problem, and applying the wrong solution."
