CBT specifically? What do you mean? What else is there besides CBT?

Without modification, my favorites are (currently) the 6D and 8D Warhammers, followed by the 3D Marauder. The MAD-5L isn't bad either. I'm annoyed by the XL engines in Marauders 3050 and after.

If running a modified or custom 'Mech, I'll try to go for my own variations on the Marauder theme. The same goes for the Clans. I love the Timber Wolf chassis, but I'm not fond of its standard configs.

Now that you mention it, the Nova Cat Prime.

I thought I was forgetting a Clan 'Mech. That's what I get for posting late at night.

To me, it is pretty unfair to have to formulate an answer to this question. You see, it would be the:

 Thor/Summoner

No other 'mech carries the same emotional package. Oh, and it is bloody good, too!

But most of the games I (want to) play are lvl1.... _________________ "Rear armour is defeatist!" - unknown Kuritan MechwarriorThe AC5 is a great gun!On heat, 3025 style:A Rifleman knows no heat.

								Thor/Summoner.

Versalitility, rugged good looks and the fact that Star Captain Horse rode in one of these babies. And it has Jumpjets.Ever seen one of these babies crash into a 100-tonner? Not a pretty sight, if it connects.

Ever seen someone get charged by a Charger? Or even worse, a Berserker?

Favorite mechs? It will always depend on what I'm going to do. If the aim is just to have fun while blowing things up you can't go wrong with a Thunderbolt. Brutal, tough and menacing. Speed means something else, like Jenners and Spectors.

I can find a good use for most mechs, so asking for favorites is futile. The few mechs that really disgust me, on the other hand...
