In 3183 the Free Skye Movement finally succeeded in secession from the Lyran Alliance, creating the Skye Republic.
The Republic includes the worlds of:

Imbross III
Atria
Skondia (secceded from the Draconis Combione, unchallenged)

La Bion

(Add any worlds in this sphere that I missed, I know there's one for sure, my map has a crease right there thats worn and I can't read it, but its next to Thorin - Coreward)
This was accomplished because Shrike Heavy Industries opened a plant on Skye in 3112 and the Skye Seperatists succeded in taking over this mech plant in 3182 - renaming it the Skye Mechworks Ltd.

Dork Age and all that jazz never happened. I'm taking my story line from Victor's reclaimation of the old Fed Suns and his brother's leading the new Lyran Alliance (I think brother anyways... been awhile since I looked at this stuff...), and moving into a future of my own creation from there. I skipped ahead quite a ways with this story because of the posts in my BattleGroup design contest in the Design Submissions forum, so that people would understand what the heck I was talking about.
