Ok, several of us talked about weight classes for ships, and what the designation for a *general* tonnage range is. Well here is my idea of a system patrol craft...

Works for me. Very nice against fighters and some of the dropships out there. And it's a decent hit and run ship against attacking naval ships.

Why not? Easiest resupply is via DropShip attached directly to the ship. Also allows it to ferry extra troops into battle with the rest of the fleet to which it is attached as an auxiliary vessel.

Depends on how they attack and if they use their numbers to hit from different directions etc...one thing to remember is a canon vessel isn't built to have all the bells and whistles. It's not min maxed as our home made stuff is so you need to remember what it will be fighting could range from canon to home made vessels.
