Comstar is Comstar, buddy. Dress it up however you want, but Comstar is to blame for our Clan-related problems.

The clans have wanted to come back and take Terra since the god-damned exodus , and it was becasue of the succesor states that they left anyway.had your ancestors not been arguing over leadership, the clans wouldn't have left, and we wouldn't have a clan problem, so in a roundabout way its your fault, not Comstar's.

BUT it wasn't your vaunted Comguard who stopped the Clans on Luthen, or your Valiant warriors who won in Opperation Bulldog. It was, however, your high and all powerful Comguard that let Terra fall into the hands of a bunch of fantatics.

So, i advise you to keep your preaching to yourself stranger because it would seem that no one is buying it.
Your Comguards did do something great on Tukiyad and i salute everyone who served there, yet I will not let you insult my nation or my friends when many more of them have died undoing the damage your group caused helping the Clans.
Rember this and remember it well, your Comguard stopped the Clans. We Kuritians beat them back to there homeworlds along side our brothren from ever great nation of the Inner Sphere.
Long live the Coordinator.

OOC:no matter what the rhetoric, this has been some nice role-playing.
Come come, lets not argue over this. All our nations did their part in battling the Clans. Whether it was to a greater or lesser degree we shall have to leave it up to the historians.
Chihawk a round here please!

This is argument is not over, we will continue it another time.Chihawk, a shot of fine, strong whiskey please, and don't give Bladewind any more, he's tipsy enough that He's confusing himself for a Davion dog instead of a servant of the Blessed Order.

Since when have they? Remember the intelligence war with ROM? And the Interdiction during the Fourth War? And at least two ComGuard divisions with orders to fight on Katherine's side? The only time they ever got along was while little Victor was keeping Yvonne's seat warm for her - and he even managed to screw that up.
OOC: Apparently the Leftenant Colonel's not exactly a Victor loyalist...
I'm starting to see what they mean about how characters do things you never intended; and there's not even that much framework for this particular "character."

If you are having problems getting back to our beautiful homeworlds then perhaps I could assist. I still have some spots left in the Combine stable I am currently head of. Have some good showings in the games and you may get that ticket home you are hoping for. Just see me at my office this week to fill out the paperwork. It is just 2 blocks east of the Mountain arena.

Damnation folks. Some people can hold a grudge. I mean, I'm reminded of the story about a politician on Terra, back in Ireland who said "You can all vote for me, I'm an atheist."
To which a woman in the crowd asked, "Yes, but is it the Catholic God or the Protestant God you don't believe in?"
Ya'll are rehashing 500 year old issues!

We may be at old Vendettas, but i think if we all got this off of our chests, maybe the rest of the War-torn Inner-Sphere can, but i will not allow them to condemn the Order for something that isn;t our fault, the clans would have come back anyway , its there goal, so a Comstar Expedition did not spark their invasion.

From what I've heard, yes: the Clans were starting to consider returning to the Inner Sphere. But the Explorer Corps scout they found was the primary impetus for their advanced timetable. If they hadn't learned the sad state the Successor States were in, their return might have been delayed by what? Years? Decades? As it was, when they returned the Inner Sphere was recovering its lost technology. Who knows what kind of fight we could have put up if we'd had another few years. Hell, they might not have INVADED at all. They might have initiated PEACEFUL contact.
I don't care that Comstar stopped the Clans at Tukayyid. To me, you have just as much blood on your hands as those Clan barbarians you helped.
