I have been doing this for 10 hours a day for the past 2 1/2 years.
Flak is the one thing I am use to.
What urks me. Is that Dallas is the only city in Texas that does NOT have Roadrunner, So I am stuck with DSL.

What are whining about???I do not have anything but a 56K modem, that uses 40 year old phone lines to get a whopping 26.4 K....

In my part of Texas both Roadrunner and Prodigy DSL have been advertising for over two years before one of em finally got around to my street.
I had thought to get DSL, which I understand runs at 500 kps. But RR was available first and now I'm really glad it was, since the little booklet says this thing runs at 10 to 100 MEGS PER SECOND. I'm not sure it really does that, but it certainly sounds impressive.
And at any rate my downloading speed just went from 3.5 to 4.5 per second to over 70 kps per second. And I can download two large files at the same time without any loss of download speed on either one of them.
Wooooo Hoooo again!

The ads are correct, That is the average speed out there.
I have DSL, It clocks in around 670 KBS. Which I can live with.
