I just started another Btech group. And we need a name. What I have so far is "The North Dallas Clan Conlave" Which not only long winded. but kind of a tounge twister as well. But the name fits it pretty well.
We want people to know that we play in Dallas, North Dallas to be exact
We play Clan only. (But we do raid IS worlds, so there be some IS play)
But everybody is part of a diffrent clan. So we need a name that repersents them all.
But we also want it to say Battletech. Which is where the issues lays. If we put any more words into the title. It is going to sound dumb.
Any ideas?

The North Dallas Clan Watch maybe?
The problem is the various clan factions working together on a regular basis. It just isn't normal for the Clans, except for the crew of that one McKenna battleship and the police force on Strana Mechty.
Plus, you probably already know that down South some people get a little uneasy whenever you say that you are with the Clans...
Hmmmm....
How about the Heirs of Kerensky: North Dallas Society?
still kinda wordy
ya got me stumped. I'll be thinking about this all day tomorrow now...

How about the
North Dallas Forty Mechwarrior Clan
The name of a football movie, if I recall. Also, did not the Clans start out with 40 warriors each?

I found the perfect name. The North Dallas Grand Kurultai.
Kurultai is a clan war council. A Grand Kurultai is a council that involes all of the clans.
The problem with it? if you have read this far you have already run acroos the issue. How the hell do you pronuonce the dam thing?

Let us just say it was another of cadet's R-rated replys.
In referance to a sexual activity engaged by two males memebers of the same sex that lived in Texas
It was rude,crude,and disgusting.
like cadet
(No offense was taken buddy, It was all done in jest)
