This upgrade kind of looks funky to me. My Panther PNT-9K is almost the same but you managed to add a little speed that will be only negligable in this case.
The Panther's best move is mugging in a city for that you need full jump.
The C3 slave is nice but in this case who are you going to spot for. Either your going to go down to 4/6/4 to stay with the C3 Master or your going to never get to use it.
Its kind of an interesting idea.

1) hmm old Panthers always managed 4 jump rather well though thus i dont see the need for full jump.
2) The C3 slave unit was simply added to give it a more Kurita feel, since they are all going crazy over it now.
Actually no, it was just for fluff, since the makers want to put the Panther back on the frontlines again, they added the C3 slave so it will work or at least function in any DCMS C3 unit.
Anyway here is a full jump variant, what ya think ?

Well as a "Die Hard" Panther pilot. I frequently died hard when I couldn't jump just one hex more.
Its good, I'm now very torn, because my prefered upgrade for the Panther was my own, but this comes dang close because its 5/8/5 to 4/6/4. The rest of the stats don't matter much but the faster movement means you can push that much harder in a fight.
Plus, it gives it an edge when working in medium/heavy weight companies in that it can break faster than everyone else in the line of battle.
Its a superior upgrade. The Panther basically has two upgrade paths in my mind now. The more versitile 10TX and the 9K which does a better job in the cities.
Nice work:)

Actually all three Panthers that are half decent.
Bladewind's Panther PNT-10TX
5/8/5
ER PPC, Streak SRM 4, CASE
119 armour points.
3,187,530 C-Bills
Erenon's Panther PNT-9K2
4/6/4
ER PPC, Streak SRM 4, C3 Slave, CASE
112 armour points.
3,178,530 C-Bills
Blackhand's Panther PNT-9K
4/6/4
ER PPC, 3 Streak SRM 2, C3 Slave
119 armour points.
3,117,510 C-Bills
Thats a massive different... close to 70,020 c-bills. Basically we've got lots of choices.
Nice work guys.

That is some nice work. All similar designs, all good designs. Does this mean that Drac minds think alike?

They tend too..
I think we need a Panther with pulse laser array to deal with running maniacs...

This is my variant for pulses. I'll post it sooner or later. I also did an ER Large, Large Pulse, ER Medium but it didnt' feel Panther to me. So this is my compromise variant.
It has fluff, I swear it does. But, I'm too lazy to look for it. I'm behind schedule as it is and tommorow is a double rather than the MERE 12 hours today was.

Its stated that it was uncommon for a Panther and a Zeus to be seen fighting each other.

fighting WITH each other. As in allied. And yeah a Zues and a Panther is an interesting pairing. They'd need a Hunchback and a Commando to properly finish the lance though .
I like that buffer state of 7 star systems these days. Most amusing proposition.

Yeah... but think about it.. the FRR probably has access to technology and equipment from the 'northern' Inner Sphere powers.
I.E. Draconis Combine, Com Star, Lyran Alliance and the Federated Suns.
ok maybe less so on the technology but still..

too bad they still fall due to the Clans because Mr Magnsson was too afraid of his neighbours thus not increasing the army size :[
